Eisacktal valley

The long Eisacktal valley offers a variety of holiday options throughout the whole year.

Ski runs and slopes guaranteed to have snow in the winter, numerous hiking paths on the Alpine meadows and peaks, cycle paths through the valley landscape, or rafting in the river, make possible an exciting active holiday in the Eisacktal valley.

There are a wealth of cultural and historic sights, such as Sterzing, the city of the Fugger Family, with its fine house-facades; the bishop’s town, Brixen, with is former riches and idyllic town centre; Klausen with its narrow alleys, and bay windows; and the “Acropolis”of Tyrol, the Convent of Säben.
